Peter Partington started sketching and painting at an early age. His deep interest in birds and natural history was nourished by the beauty of Poole Harbour where he grew up in his teens.
He later qualified at art college and went on to teach art students for many years. The success of his own work eventually enabled him to paint, etch and sculpt full-time.
He has had innumerable exhibitions in Britain and abroad. He is frequently requested to participate in prestigious conservation projects . He has illustrated
many books, the latest of which is the best selling 'Secret Lives' series published by C.Helm.
He lives and works in rural Suffolk whose natural riches are now the source of much of his inspiration.
